That is it for January. And today my holidays are officially over

I bought these glasses for a bit of fun this arvo in amongst presents for someones birthday. To my absolute suprise Lily put them on and went outside and said “Photo Mummy” She went straight to the door where Lyndal took our photos and asked “wheres Lyndal!”
Cheeky Monkeys, together playing this morning. Even though it was steaming outside, the park was still wet to play in so a play in Playmaze this morning. Kids had a great time, Lily thought she was a clever girl climbing up on the net, I didnt even see the sign until Alicia pointed it out to me, then up went Chloe to join Lily being a Monkey!! Cant believe how much out kids have grown up, it all happens too fast! But this is a good age as they are all playing together, quite cute!
Getting closer to the end of the month….day 28 and still in there, going to take this on for the 365 days however will post weekly rather than daily. Today, swimming lessons, Lily has been going to swimming lessons since she was a Bub, while I am happy to be out of the water with her now, days like today I wish I was in the water with her still. She is doing so well, I am a very proud Mummy sitting on the side watching how confident she is now. Im glad I have persevered through all those weeks of crying and stuck it out, has certainly paid off! I love the expression Lily has on her face when in the water, its this kind of pout, she refuses to breath or blow bubbles, just pouts! Very Cute!
Before the afternoon of storms, there was a little bit of wind, so finally we went out and used the kite. Yes it was fun, and oh my god….how hard is it to fly a kite, maybe more wind is needed, but we were running around for the entire time! Thankgod for the cool change that came with the storms.

We had a double celebration today, It was our Miss Sharon’s Birthday as well. Lily was totally over the moon that her friend Immy was there as well. Lots of fun (and too much cake) and then a tired little girl on the lounge.
A Day Out…into Sydney for the Aquarium…a few toys later, lunch ice cream and a ride on the carousel A MASSIVE day for Miss Lily….She loved it.
HUGE morning at the park 2 and half hours of swinging and slippery dips (ok there was a coffee in there too). Lily was on this swing for about half an hour watching the ducks. She Loves to be out of the house…..no idea where she gets that from!!!
“Oh My God” I hear you all say…thats right todays photo is NOT of Lily. Today we went for a visit to my friend Melissa and her two boys Jackson and Baby Harry. I took Harry away from the commotion in the lounge room for a quick few photos. Such a happy social baby he looked up at his Mummy smiling, his goos and gaas were so cute, he keeps such good eye contact when communicating to you. Made me realise how much I loved that baby stage! Our little session didnt last long, Lily and Jackson wanted part of it aswell, mucking around on the bed. A good day, spent a long time in the BIG blow up pool, home in time for the cool change!
What to do today with an expected top of 40….movies. We went to see The Princess And The Frog. This was Lilys FIRST ever trip to the movies.She loved it, she danced through all of the songs which was cute, cuddled me for the most part, but she thought it was pretty cool.
