It was an honour to be part of my friend Brooke’s and her cousin Danni’s launch night at the Piano Room, Kings Cross for their label Tickets For Coco. I have loved supporting Brooke’s business, as it truely is amazing clothing. Each and every time I wear their clothing I receive compliments, and I am asked where can it be purchased. Christmas Bookings

It is that time of year when the enquiries go mental and the bookings are a plenty. I am so excited about the workflow I am about to encounter. I have many weddings booked in for the next few months which I am looking forward to SO much. The second half of the cornflowerblue shoot saw many different lines of organic childrens clothing. This is where my little delight had her turn in front of the camera. She had patiently waited all day watching all of the bigger girls have their photos taken. And she did pretty well for her first fashion role. I was very proud! What a massive day I spent with the founder of cornflowerblue, her team and lots of little girls dressed in beautiful clothing. What is cornflowerblue about? When Sara began daydreaming of cornflowerblue after chatting with girlfriends in Mumbai about the lack of pretty, girlie clothes that are affordable and in the next breath… organic. This set Sarah off on an adventure, armed with the designs for her first collection, to find who made the most beautiful organic clothes in India. Sarah soon evolved the concept of cornflowerblue to include stocking other fabulous organic and fair labels from around the world.

The clothing is beautiful, to say the least. Each dress that came out in front of me was gorgeous, girly and the girls just loved it. They all had a great day, as did I and my little Lily got a look in and was photographed in my favourite colour….red! I was exhausted after the full day shooting, but I thoroughly LOVED it. We were able to do both in and outdoor photographs. The weather at the beach was a little unforgiving and probably one of the glariest, windiest days Ive ever experienced.

Another successful cafe, opened by a friend of mine at Westpoint Shopping Center. Stylish and very trendy, they even have a kiddies corner, which as a parent I think is a wonderful idea! The coffee is great too, and the best part it is served with chocolate coated coffee beans! yummo!!!!

I recently took a trip to Melbourne to do a job for an old school friend to photograph the band DARK HORSE. I was hesitant as I am usually shooting babies, but J insisted that I do it and that it was all good. And all good it was. What a fantastic bunch of guys, who were so easy to work with. I had a great time and will certainly be looking into doing more jobs like this.

Living in the Outback

Goodbye Little Sister

My sister El has now left for England, and living in London. Her last weekend was easter and we had a fantastic Good Friday and Easter Sunday with lots of play and laughs and then tears. We are all missing her terribly, but know she is having a great time!!!!!
