Skye Blue Photography

Today we had a glorious winters day. After a frosty start the sun was out and it was actually quite mild. In the afternoon I had a shoot with Jo, who was in my year at school and her hubby Glenn and daughter Amelie, who wasn’t really a huge fan of me or my camera. Her favourite word to me was “no” but after a few chats about Makka Pakka hiding in the garden and some excellent jumping by Glenn, there were a few smiles. Yes my shoots supply the fathers with a boot camp like quality of keeping the children entertained. What can I say about the light. It was amazing, perfect. Jo is pregnant and I couldnt resist in getting a couple “belly” shots. Enjoy your sneak peek of your shoot, there are some very special photos of your family. The last baby for this family made this shoot very special. I insisted that Kylie have these photos to remember her pregnancy…something I wish I had of done when I was pregnant. A day that was meant to rain, we had a sun filled morning which was perfect for going out the back into the paddocks. Then also some shots inside. So glad you had a good time Kylie!

Remember this mum to be….

Introducing the perfect little Max. He is so cute, lots of moments made my heart skip a few beats… remembering the little coo’s and the sound of suckling and moaning as he feeds!!! He is a strong little man for 2 weeks old, he can hold that head up and is so forceful!! And adamant that while I am there he WILL NOT SLEEP!!! We even had two shoots and he laid there awake the entire time!!!!

 

 

 

What a stunning Mum to be. Awaiting her third baby, due in two weeks, K was glowing during our session, even with the twins running around and throwing things in the pool!!!!

 

 

What a fun afternoon with a good friend and her boys. Full of energy and more interested in tackling each other than sweetly kissing Mummies belly, I had to really think creatively, and finally some beautiful family shots of L and her boys.

What a perfect summers day at the beach this morning, a lot sunnier than I had expected, so lighting was harsh, but all in all some cute shots of the boys and what a gorgeous mummy they have!!! Hope you enjoy the sneak peek S, I will have the rest up for you soon.xx

I went back for a second visit to little Lilah, and she was much more settled and we got some beautiful shots. It was so good to see her again! She would have to be one of the prettiest babies Ive ever seen!!

Wow what a year it has been, especially the last few months. A big thankyou to all my clients that I have had supporting me over the past few months, I have been very happy with the growth of my business. I have enjoyed being busy, photographing my first wedding was great, i LOVED the pregnancy shoot with T and P and the newborn shoot i completed last week was so special (very hard for a girl who gets clucky sooo easily). I am looking forward to more work in the new year and have BIG hopes for Skye Blue for 2009!!  I have a very special wedding booked for October which I know is going to be fantasic as the setting is the most beautiful house and garden you have ever seen, and that they are special friends of my family, and I have a BIG christening and a few baby shoots over the next month so make sure you keep checking this space for my latest work.
