Within my family we have always referred to places far away as being “Out the back of Bourke”. So you can imagine my amazement when I answered the phone to Annabel and she was in fact calling me….from Bourke! He fiance Ben lived here in Sydney and after doing the long distance relationship for long enough, Annabel moved to Sydney. Their engagement shoot I loved and after it I couldn’t wait for their wedding which Annabel explained would be on a boat on Sydney Harbour.

The day was beautiful, and although it rained everyones spirits remained high. Our Bridal shoot really made me work hard getting enough shots done before the skies opened up again. Many of the guests were wet from head to toe, but they were all still laughing and smiling as they boarded the boat to spend the evening celebrating the marriage of Ben and Annabel.

Lily Turns 4

Where did 4 years go? Over the weekend I celebrated with my fairy 4 wonderful years, years spent bonding and creating a very special Mummy and Daughter relationship. Lily is one special girl who is adored by all her family and her peers. So what better way than to give her a fairy party with all her fairy friends. It was so cute watching all the little ones running around playing, and their eyes wide opened when I told them fairies had been here the night before and left treasures all around the yard! Happy Birthday to Lily. Mummy loves you to the moon……and back. x

We have escaped reality for a few days and are visiting Lyndal. I met Lyndal at a photography workshop about a year ago, and the best thing I got from the workshop was the friendship with Lyndal. She has been living in Orange for almost a year and today she took some special shots of Lily and I.

Ive Got My Tickets

Last night I ventured to a friends house armed with fish cakes bite sized quiches and a bottle of wine in the hope of finding something to make me smile. Brooke has a knack of beginning businesses and just knowing what works. I have asked her a lot of advice over the last few months about the design for my website, which was looking a lot like hers which was VERY freaky as neither of us had spoken about it to each other. This told me that the two of us like the same kind of things, the same kind of style. I loved her style with her old business And Me Too, a children’s clothing line. I Sooooooo enjoyed Magnolia Square, a market like event holding stylish stalls from jewelry to olive oils, unique kids clothing to artwork. Last night however was about something new, and to me something exciting. If you are like me, and you have ventured out shopping for a little retail therapy to find nothing. Everything you try on just doesnt work. I have hated shopping since coming back from OS and feeling a little larger. Brooke has found the solution to make me happy, and Im sure many women happy.

Tickets for Coco is her new label. This is my ticket to happiness. Surrounded by women talking and all saying the same thing about weight issues and feeling that there is nothing to buy that suits us. The Tickets for Coco label is here to save our sanity, well mine anyhow, that I dont infact have a mong body. (which is what I think whilst trying on the latest fashion) Made with silk and flowing lines, each dress I tried on I had rave reviews and was told I was the perfect tickets model. Because this is what the label is made for. My shape. I felt great in the dresses and wore one out today and will wear another tomorrow. Tickets is hitting the stores January, keep an eye out!! I wish the girls all the best with the new line which is simply stunning. Stay tuned for more on the girls who are about to be HUGE with this line.
